KATHMANDU: Andrew Aziz, one of Iran's elite and best high altitude climbers, is preparing to set a world record for Iran by summiting Denali, the highest peak in North America to become the first Iranian man to ever complete mountaineering challenge the Seven Summits.Fresh off his recent ascent of Mount Everest (2023), Vinson (2024) and Wilhelm (2024), Aziz is now aiming to complete the Seven Summits challenge by conquering Denali in Alaska National Park, the highest peak in North America. Elite Exped says it trains Lobuche East climbers at Everest Base Camp Record holder climber Nima Rinji Sherpa meets Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar in India This achievement will solidify his status as one of the top high altitude climbers in Iran. The Seven Summits challenge, a prestigious and demanding feat, includes Mount Everest (Asia), Aconcagua (South America), Denali (North America), Kilimanjaro (Africa), Mt Blanc (Europe), Vinson (Antarctica), and Mount Wilhelm (Oceania).

By successfully summiting Denali, Aziz will be one step closer to joining the ranks of those who have completed this remarkable achievement.

As of 2024, less than 500 people in the world have completed this.Aziz's passion for climbing began at a young age.

Growing up in Iran, he was inspired by the rugged mountains that surrounded him.

His dedication to the sport and relentless pursuit of excellence have propelled him to the forefront of the climbing community.

Over the years, he has tackled numerous challenging peaks, honing his skills and building a reputation as a fearless and determined climber. As he embarks on this latest adventure, Aziz is focused on not only setting a world record for Iran but also inspiring others to pursue their passions and push their limits.

His journey to the summit of Denali is more than just a personal quest; it is a testament to the power of perseverance and the unyielding human spirit.Andrew Aziz will be the first Iranian to climb the Wilhelm version of Seven Summits and a prominent advocate for the "Wilhem" version of the Seven Summits challenge.

This variation emphasizes climbing Mount Wilhelm in Papua New Guinea as the highest peak in Oceania instead of the traditionally recognized Carstensz Pyramid.

Aziz has made multiple trips to the Papua New Guinea region and actively discourages climbers from attempting Carstensz Pyramid due to various risks due to security concerns.

Tribal conflicts and the activities of mining operations have made the region increasingly dangerous.

Since August 2019, the area has been under a security lockdown, and the situation worsened in February 2023 when the Free Papua Movement rebels took New Zealand pilot Philip Mark Mehrtens hostage, declaring all foreigners as targets.Given these challenges, Aziz in his social media posts argues that climbing Mount Wilhelm in the Papua highlands presents a safer and more accessible alternative for mountaineers seeking to complete the Seven Summits.

Papua New Guinea remains relatively safer for climbers than New Guinea, offering a high mountain expedition experience without the significant risks associated with Carstensz Pyramid.Andrew Aziz is a notable Canadian and Iranian trader, investor, and author, best known for founding Bear Bull Traders, an online community that provides resources and education for day traders.

He is also a Forbes Council member and a prolific author whose books on trading have been translated into multiple languages.

In addition to his contributions to the trading community, Aziz is recognized for his accomplishments in mountaineering. .
